July 4th

4th of July is always a good time, the friends, the food, parades and fireworks. For the first time ever we attended the Banner Elk parade. But more on that in just a bit. Before we attended the parade we headed downtown for breakfast.

The wait was only about 10 minutes for a table but then the wait for our meals became close to an hour after the kitchen lost our ticket. The food was good when it arrived and was worth missing the first few minutes of the parade for.
